"The 2024 Ohligsberg, ... is a bone- wine made from grapes planted in 1971 and trained on single pole. This wine offers a still rather backward nose made of pear, a hint of spices (oregano), white flowers, and smoke. It is beautifully balanced on the palate and offers a superb feel of juicy fruits and earthy spices in the long finish. The aftertaste is delicious and playful. This could easily exceed our high ratings at maturity as it develops its aromatic presence."
